STUDY #3 - Welding Procedures
“We had a company in to sort out our welding
procedures and get them qualified but we have been
told by our client that the work that has been done
is not correct and all six welding procedure qualifications
need to be re welded and tested. We have done this
and still it is being criticised. Can you help?
Unfortunately, we were unable to save the duplication
and associated costs of the retesting, as the client
contacted us too late and the second batch of testing
was already completed. However, we were able to prepare
all of their welding procedure specifications (WPS’s)
from their Welding Procedure Qualification Records
(WPQR’s).
