Course overview: This course is aimed
at a range of personnel who require a good understanding
of welding imperfections (or defects). A key feature
is how imperfections are avoided and whether they are
acceptable or not. The course begins with a review
of the different types of welding imperfections and
the looks at practical ways of avoiding individual
problems and interpreting acceptance standards. The
course is also ideal for candidates moving on to the

Course VIL-1 Certificate
in Visual Inspection of Welded Joints Training and
Examination Package

Course overview: This
course is similar to the PCN Welding Inspector Level
1 course and is set at an introductory level specifically
aimed at all personnel who need to be able to visually
inspect welded joints. The course covers the main areas
of consideration when inspecting welds and finishes
with an assessment for a Weld-Class-Solutions Ltd Certificate
of Proficiency which is awarded to successful delegates.
